History
The St. Peter's Choristers were created by John Russell and David Sinden, and had their first rehearsal on the Feast of St. Matthias, February 24, 2003. They sang in the liturgy for the first time on Palm Sunday, April 13, 2003.
On March 28, 2004, the Choristers were invited to sing at All Saints Episcopal Church in Parma, Ohio. Several choristers also took part in the consecration of the Rt. Rev. Mark Hollingsworth, Bishop of Ohio.
In June 2004, David Sinden graduated from the Oberlin Conservatory of Music, bound for Indiana University in Bloomington in the fall. Chosen as his replacement was Noah Horn, a junior organ performance major also from Oberlin.
Under Noah's guidance, the Choristers have continued to grow, building from David's teaching. In the fall of 2004, the Choristers learned Thou shalt keep him in perfect peace by Samuel Sebastian Wesley, a complex piece which expanded their abilities. Now in early 2005, the Choristers continue to grow, learn, and enrich the lives of others.
